Combined Building & Pest (Pre-purchase)
An expert assessment of the overall condition of the property will be made by comparing it to other homes of a similar type, age, and construction method/materials used. In accordance with the Australian Standard (AS 4349.1-2007), we will report all major defects (structural defects for the REIWA contracts), potential problems or safety hazards, and timber pest.

Major cracking in walls and leaking roofs are the most common problems people have with their homes. Usually they have already had the builder or a tradesman or 2 out to the home to check it out but they don’t really come up with any advice on how to stop the problem reoccurring. Some homeowners feel like they are going in circles trying to get to the bottom of the problem.

Phil and Belinda have lived in the Rockingham shire for over 12 years and originate from NSW. This means Phil has learnt his trade within Australia and follows all relevant Australian Standard building codes.
Phil is a licenced builder in WA-BC103739 and NSW 202829C. He has worked in the building industry for over 30 years as a Qualified Builder in residential, commercial and industrial building industries.

Can't praise PBI enough. From Belinda on the phone and in the office arranging it all and Phil that came and did the inspection. Would not waste my money on this company, they seem really good over the phone, the wrote alot of generic answers on the reports, you go and compare it, they missed alot of things or reported it wrong, they also say in all their questions we are not electricians or plumbers or qualified blah blah blah so you pay them for nothing..

Thought that this company was really good at first, but really disappointed when I started comparing their report to the actual state of the house. The house has so much wrong with it that was not reported. They wrote a lot but then arnt qualified in any way. No point to trust anything they have to say. Don’t waste your money or time

My sister used Precision Building Inspections and recommended them to us. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. We loved that it was a small, local, family run business and that all interactions with Belinda and Phil felt personal. They communicated well. Not only did they provided a thorough building report, they also called to explain the report, in a way that was easy to understand; and gave us advice on how to move forward. Amazing service! My wife and I were out in a position to put an offer in on a mortgagee sale house that had be empty for 18months. Bank wouldn’t do a building and pest inspection and were going to take the highest bid in 5 days. I called Precision building inspections and told them the situation I was in. Fault finding detective extraordinaireThe team at Precision Building Inspections provided us with five-star service and performance. We had a persistent water leak around a window on the second floor of our home. Had a series of tradies out (roofing, gutters, windows) each of whom took a narrow view of the problem and diagnosed the problem as something other than their specialty area. We’d gone around in circles with one tradie after another coming out and saying different versions of... “not my job”.Phil from Precision Building came out and used his extensive building experience to bring a holistic insight into what was causing the problem. He used a camera to look inside the walls, identified the problem source, and then provided an economical solution. He used pictures and explained in layman’s terms what was happening and why the repair would remedy the problem.We were extremely impressed with Phi’s expertise, professionalism and fair prices.
